Ministries

The ministries of the church are an integral part of the plan of the Lord of the Church, Jesus Christ.  In Ephesians, Paul gives instructions on the nature and function of the body of Christ, saying, "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ." (Eph. 4:10-13) It is the service of the saints, building one another up, that is one of the primary results of the teaching of the Scriptures by the pastors and teachers in the church. And it is the mutual building up that grows the church in maturity, with a lofty goal: the very stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ!

We believe that all of the members of the church are called to labor together to build one another up. The children of God are commanded to serve one another in love (Gal. 5:13). Grace Church has a great number of ministries available where God’s people can come together to minister and be ministered to throughout the week. From youth ministries and Bible studies through the pulpit and music ministries, our aim is to honor the Lord through our service one to another. As Paul again instructs, "Be devoted to one another with mutual affection. Honor one another above yourselves." (Rom. 12:10)
